This activity requires good supervision since it involves water in a bucket. You'll be amazed how many bubbles you get - some will be like dish washing water bubbles that land nearby and some will be big round bubbles that float way up into the sky.
Always remember to get the most bubbly fun you need to put the dishwashing detergent in after you've filled the bucket with water. If you put it in before the water, all your bubbles will be in the bucket and you may as well do the dishes!

Cool activity. Love it!
Love that picture of the bubbles floating up in the air.
Thanks for the tip about putting the soap in at the end. Never really thought about that!
Looks like fun! And the bonus is you clean your fly swat at the same time LOL
Yes it's good clean fun! he he he!! Fly swats cost very little to buy so it even falls under the category of a cheap activity too. This is one we always have available and it's also a great one to use at mums group.
Fabulous idea. I must steal that to do with my girls. :)
We will have to try this. Sounds like a great activity to enjoy while we are having such lovely weather and postcard blue skies.
What fun, I have never ever tried that one before (or seen it anywhere!) Must add a flyswat to my shopping list.
@ Marita - please do : )
@ Elise - How beautiful have the mornings been!! We've been enjoying the outdoor a lot lately.
@ Christie - I can remember turning up to work one day (many years ago) and seeing the playground absolutely covered in bubbles. It looked incredible! Make sure you pick up two fly swats for when friends come over.
great idea...another fun bubble activity is blowing bubble domes with a straw. Place bubbly mixture on a smooth surface (Table top) and with a straw blow a bubble into a dome shape...it takes a little practice but is lots of fun. Enjoy :)
That sounds like great fun Heart n Soul. I must try it with my girls this week. I can already tell that they're going to love it.
